In an effort to strengthen the team, we are looking for a:

Quality Assurance Engineer - Mechanical

The resource will be responsible for quality assurance activities, related to components, systems and subsystems of a mechanical nature, for space applications. Specifically, the resource will be responsible for performing the following activities:

• Capture information about the project/product and its requirements (Product Assurance Plan, customer requirements, SOW, schedule) via the quality and product kick - offs; 

• Present a qualification status of the equipment or subsystem based on an existing heritage and validate the associated development plan. Analyse BDREX, alerts and supplier databases to report to the Customer;

• If identified in EQSR, update the quality documents in accordance with customer requirements and our Quality Management System (QMS), with the support of engineering and Engineering Quality Assurance; 

• Check the updates of engineering and configuration documents according to the QMS and customer
  requirements;

• Participate in the product structuring review and contribute by taking into account the quality feedback from previous programs (Non-Conformances- Reports);

• Approve the manufacturing drawing and Manufacturing Operation Sheet (MOS) for internal product; contribute, prepare and participate for MRR & TRR customer preparation reviews for products which are manufactured and ensure the correct application of processes according to the TAS QMS, provide the quality status;

• Prepare, invite all the necessary participants and hold the KIPs (internal) or MIPs (With customer presence). Fill in the visual inspection checklist and fill in the performance indicators of reviews;

• Participate to supplier reviews (EQSR, PDR, CDR, QR MRR, KIP / MIP, TRR, TRB, DRB) with the presence of “procurement team” and decide on the success of these reviews; exercise the right to alert in case of non-compliance with the QMS, communicate, participate, prepare and contribute to risk / opportunity analyzes of the engineering, production and / or industrialization phases.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent culture and has gained from 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance activities, focused on components, systems and subsystems of an electrical/electronic nature, gained in the aerospace industry. Good problem solving and team working skills, autonomy in the organization of assigned tasks and result orientation are required. It is also required the availability to geographic mobility in national and international context and an excellent knowledge of English.

• Knowledge of Quality Management System according to ECSS;

• Knowledge of Quality Management System according to ECSS;

• Excellent knowledge of the MS Windows environment.
