Packaging Engineer - Pharma
Join our Life Sciences division, a group of over 400 consultants working in Italy and of around 5.000 consultants working across other European Regions in the Life Sciences. Our strength has always been the integration of our expertise, which allows us to have a 360° view of the pharmaceutical world.
Join our Packaging Engineering team and play a key role in driving innovation, quality, and sustainability across our packaging operations.
As a Packaging Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical leadership and project management for New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Technology Transfer projects.
- Offer global packaging technical support, focusing on artwork/graphics management and the design of secondary and tertiary packaging.
- Lead packaging process validation (PPQ) and distribution qualification studies (ASTM testing) for both the Latina site and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
- Manage MSAT documentation, including validation protocols, technical specifications, risk assessments, and technology transfer reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and other global functions to ensure seamless project execution.
- Partner with packaging material suppliers, promoting innovation and sustainable solutions aligned with J&J’s global environmental goals.
Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Master) in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience? We’re looking for a professional with a strong background in packaging engineering, excellent project management skills, and a passion for quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
