Job description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support our engineering department in enhancing quality and accelerating the development lifecycle. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in automating, streamlining, and improving processes related to software development, testing, and deployment to ensure continuous delivery and updates. This position is critical to helping the engineering team meet ambitious product development and production goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Set up and maintain development tools and infrastructure (CI/CD) to ensure operational stability, working closely with the IT department.

Automate and optimize development, testing, release, update, and support processes across the engineering and operational departments.

Define and implement best practices for software delivery and quality assurance.

Integrate cybersecurity measures, continuously performing vulnerability assessments and risk management (DevSecOps).

Provide DevOps and DevSecOps expertise and guidance, both internally and to external customers.

Act as a bridge between software engineers, testers, and the IT department to facilitate collaboration and ensure process alignment.

Stay informed on emerging tools and processes, recommending solutions to improve quality and development velocity.

Your Profile:

 

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering (minimum 3 years of relevant experience).
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Linux (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu).
Experience with shell scripting.
Expertise in virtualization and orchestration tools such as VMWare, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.
Familiarity with cloud/system monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Jaeger, Open Telemetry).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory).
Knowledge of data management between systems like ERP (OCM, Odoo) and PLM (Windchill), as well as PowerBI.
Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgresQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
Experience with HTTP protocols and services (NGINX, httpd, haproxy).
A keen interest in cybersecurity practices, including SSL, certificates, vulnerability scanning (SAST/DAST), and penetration testing.
Commitment to software quality and best practices.

Familiarity with testing frameworks like Robot Framework or BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
Experience in additional programming or scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Groovy, Lua).
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
Experience in large, complex software solutions, including embedded systems.
