About the role:

As part of the development of innovative projects in the aeronautics and space sectors, we are looking for a Mechanical Calculation Engineer to strengthen our engineering teams and contribute to the design and validation of complex systems.

You will work on high-tech projects in close collaboration with design, testing and industrialization teams.

The responsibilities

• 
  Define and implement calculation models adapted to mechanical engineering requirements.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA/FEM) on mechanical parts and structures.
  Carry out static, dynamic, vibration and fatigue analyses.
• Contribute to the sizing and validation of mechanical components.
• Analyse test results and correlate numerical models with experimental data.
• Identify optimization opportunities to improve performance while reducing costs and development cycles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of calculation methods and design processes.
• Work closely with design and production teams.

The requirements

Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Analysis or a related field.
Initial experience through an internship, apprenticeship or professional position in mechanical calculation/structural analysis within an industrial environment.
Good knowledge of Finite Element Methods (FEM).
Strong ability to interpret and analyse complex technical results.
Knowledge of static and dynamic analysis, mechanical vibrations, fatigue analysis, strength of materials and structural mechanics.
Experience with calculation/test correlation and design optimization.
Knowledge of tools such as ANSYS, HyperMesh, Samcef, Nastran, Abaqus or equivalent software.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and autonomy.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
