Quality Assurance Engineer – Supply Chain

 

 

The candidate will focus on the following tasks:

  • Define, plan and implement the Quality Assurance provisions necessary to monitor suppliers and to ensure the product’s ability to fulfill its mission, in compliance with the prescribed methodology and technical objectives, program costs and timelines.
  • Ensure the application and consideration of the specific requirements described in the Product Assurance Plan.
  • Collect and present to the customer (project) the insurance (or guarantees) that the product complies with all the requirements.
  • Animate and coordinate all Product Assurance activities of the relevant product.
  • Identify and address configuration deviations (RFD) with the support of the relevant Program Configuration Manager and the Supplier Operations Manager.
  • Establish the product qualification status and keep it up to date, prepare the EQSR.
  • Participate in any additional development reviews (PDR, CDR) and progress meetings as required. Comment on the documentation issued.
  • Prepare and lead the various key points and participate in the reviews (MRR, TRR, TRB, DRB) planned as part of the equipment integration and testing process, in collaboration with the Execution & Performance Manager (EPM).
  • Implement the “Milestones” sheets during the key events of the program (EQSR, PDR, CDR, TRR, TRB, DRB, …)
  • Ensure the processing of anomalies on the relevant products, implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure their completion, manage and distribute the status of non-conformities / RFW- RFD.
  • Approve the accompanying quality documentation delivered with the product.
  • Participate in supplier evaluation activities in collaboration with Procurement.
  • Contribute to the feedback needed to improve the quality of other cases (participation in the cross-cutting treatment of anomalies, participation in commissions of inquiry, update of “monitoring plans”).
  • Transmit information for the supplier quality data base, participate in audits, ensure the implementation of corrective actions/improvements resulting from audits, etc.

Profile

Master's degree in Engineering in one of the following fields: Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication, Aeronautics, Aerospace, Physics. 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance with focus on supply chain.
Good problem-solving skills. Capability to interface at Customer level (good communication).
Good command of the English language (B2).

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • 3 or more years in the Space domain;
  • 3 or more years in Quality;
  • Quality assurance and Supply Chain in Space domain.
