Scope:

Presales Solution Architect for Quality engineering and assurance / Testing will be responsible for working with customers to fulfil their QE&A / testing related requirements for software / applications. He / she will be supporting proactive and reactive proposal requirements forwarded by the North America sales team. This associate will be developing proposal response based on customer requirement for RFI / RFQ / RFS / RFP etc related to the testing services across all domains. He / She will work closely with the sales team and customers in the process. This associate will own the proposal solution response end to end and develop the delivery model, engagement roadmap, transition and transformation approach, effort estimation etc. During the proposal preparation process, the associate will require to interact with customer / partner / TPAs in person or remotely.

Responsibilities:
Main tasks include specifically:
Develop non-functional, functional and performance testing requirements for applications based on client needs including strategy, estimation, planning, execution oversight, metrics reporting and risk management.
Should provide thought leadership and expertise concerning QE&A services
Should be responsible for selecting/maintaining and integrating the appropriate set of tools, processes and procedures to ensure overall testing efficiency and effectiveness
Propose efficient automation solutions and tools mapping to business needs and aligning to industry best technologies
Design, architect and drive the development of generic and specific automation frameworks, tools and solutions
Study latest technology trends and adopt them into solutions
Define and create technology roadmap for test and automation for clients
Be the technology leader and provide test and automation expertise to business teams.
Evaluate, select and formulate best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different products and applications.
Responding & devising Solutions for RFI/RFP/RFQ's proposals 
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close.”
Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including proposing unique selling points/Differentiators, researching, writing and/or checking proposals
Working with key stakeholders/Point of Contacts involved from different project teams during the entire bid cycle and client organization to obtain the information required to compile the bid
Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical sales skills.

Required skills:
Good knowledge of testing in general, test documentation, testing processes, testing reporting, approaches, etc
Should be able to understand customer’s testing issues, work out testing requirements, testing approaches, testing reporting and many related issues, such as the testing environment.
Proficiency in at least one of the programming languages preferably Java, JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Test Automation including Framework development, Framework maintenance, Automation Planning and Automation Test Execution.
Ability to work in agile team environment and client interfacing skills.
Should have developed and maintained a manual and automation testing roadmap
Provided guidance and mentorship to other team members on automation testing practices
Should have analysed test results and reporting on the quality and effectiveness of the automated testing process
Should have Collaborated with development teams to identify and prioritize areas for testing
Designing and implementing automation frameworks and test suites
Strong understanding for QA concepts, testing techniques, automation tools and technologies
Understanding of both functional and non-functional testing and ability to propose automation solutions to test them.
Strong in one of the programming languages such as python, Java, C++ etc.,
Should have strong knowledge on Windows, Web, mobile and cloud testing and automation methodologies
Should possess knowledge of popular and emerging open source/commercial tools automation tools and their technology stacks
Should have working knowledge of automation frameworks, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins etc.) and infrastructure for automation solutioning.
Need to serve as an expert in identifying suitable technologies, tools or Automation Frameworks, in line with latest industry trends including cloud, ML technologies, codeless automation etc.
Experience in providing end-to-end technical support for testing engagements.
Should have great presentation and technical documentation skills
Ability to provide technology leadership for enhancing test automation capability at organization level
Should have in-depth knowledge and working experience with performance testing tools like MF LoadRunner, MF Performance Center, Apache JMeter, GATLING etc., and application performance management, server logs and infrastructure monitoring tools like New Relic, Splunk, App Dynamics, JConsole, Visual VM, JRockit mission control, GC viewer, MAT, Fast Thread, jStack, Jmap, JProfiler to locate, analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks in enterprise applications.

Work experience with US / Europe clients is added advantage
