Key Skills:

•Product knowledge of Automotive Seating System
•Relevant Experience in Design & Development of Automotive Seating Systems, Sub systems and components
•(Complete Seat / Metal Structures / Mechanisms / Plastics / Trims and Foams)
•Working Proficiency in CATIA V5 and / or UG NX (Part modelling, Surface modelling, Drafting and Kinematics)
•Should be aware of tooling feasibility checks of Sheetmetal and / or Plastics part through CAD software
•Knowledge about Sheetmetal manufacturing processes /Plastic mounding processes
•Should be well versed with Seating Regulatory Compliances to develop parts with Seating Guidelines and Ergonomics, Client Requirements
•Proficient in Packaging & Clearance study with respective requirements
•Manage new product development activities to meet quality, timeline, cost & weight target
•Exposure to processes like DFMEA, DFMA, DVP etc.
•Initiate & execute Engineering Change Requests
•Should be well versed with Complete Seat Drawings and Validation requirements
•Should have experience in RPS, Tolerance Stack-up analysis and GD&T
•Knowledge of various phases of Development cycle
•Exposure to Data management using PLM tools
•Exposure to Testing, Certification requirements and Validation will be added advantage
•Strong Program management skills with a goal/target minded discipline
•Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Should be able to lead the team and check the quality of out put and deliver the out put.
•Communication with onsite/ client.
•Execute the project within timelines prescribed by the customer.
•Good knowledge of CAD Methodologies and Best practices.
