With a view to strengthening our team we are looking for a:

Lighting Mechanical Engineer - Protected Group

The role involves:

• (Pre-feasibility) First evaluation of mechanical integration feasibility of lighting components inside three defined headlamps already existing that must be modified in their inner parts. Individuation of component best positioning;
• (Feasibility) Detailed study of mechanical integration in term of mechanical installation compliance in the headlamp in term of:

- Light emission

- Thermal/ventilation behavior

- Relative position respect to headlamp cleaning system

- Relative position respect to levelling system

- Fixing points

- Mounting system (Not only for the new component to be integrated but also for other lighting components already installed in headlamp. Please note: the supplier must complete this task in collaboration with other project partners that perform specific analyses/simulations and with other IDG involved colleagues);

• Production of definitive CAD data for each headlamp foreseen;
• Production of support documentation (ppt documentation, xls files)
• The supplier has to develop the scope of the offer independently with the information needed from IG/EE-Lighting

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• At least 3 years of experience in the role;
• Italian and English are mandatory and German would be nice to have to share information with customer, partners and eventually supplier;
• Required knowledges in detail:
• Extensive system knowledge (CAD: CATIA V5, NX);
• Vehicle Development Process Knowledge and experience;
• Office package Advanced Knowledge, in particular Excel and Powerpoint;
• Independent Working Method;
• Protected Group
