AKKA Group North America has been growing in Canada since 2010, first in Montreal (Quebec) then in Toronto (Ontario) since 2020, in the Aerospace, Railway, Automotive and Digital sectors.We are always looking for the best talents to join our Business development team.YOUR MISSIONSDevelop your portfolio of clients and prospects with a view to growth. The commercial approach is your daily life, you position yourself as a key interlocutor with customers and you know how to detect the slightest need. You go looking for projects in the sectors assigned to you.You run your profit center as your mini company, calculating net margins and revenues has no more secret for you.The personal development of your employees and their projection in the company is a key element of a successful Management. You know hot to identify and recruit the future consultants to create a strong team.YOUR ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDefine a strategic business plan to secure large existing accountsBuild new partnership within customer accountsSecure and maintain the proper development of accounts on a daily basis (collaborators and client follow-up)Strongly develop customer accounts (or prospects if applicable) by guaranteeing a high-quality progress of the business won (progress monitoring, maintenance of consultants, loyalty of accounts, etc.)Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a solid level of trustRespond to clients’ request (business proposal, RFI, etc.)Negotiate clients ‘contractsParticipate in the employee recruitment process (sourcing, interviews, etc.)Organize, manage and monitor the services of collaboratorsGuarantee compliance with administrative procedures related to your business and regular reporting of your activitiesFrequent trips in great Montreal and great Toronto areas, to clients’ sites

YOUR PROFILE AND YOUR SKILLS
Strong understanding of the technical requirements in at least one of the sectors listed above
Experience working with manufacturers (OEM) and tier 1 suppliers
Skills in business development and managing accounts
Very strong interpersonal skills and positive approach to work
Self-motivated and result-oriented
Ability to work independently
Highly dynamic and adaptable in a fast-growing environment
Recognized leadership and essential teamwork
Ability to inspire confidence and build long-term business and human relationships – Strong hunter mindset
Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Business Development, Human Resources or Engineering
A minimum of 3 years of experience is required
Having a driving licence is essential
