Project Engineer Utilities
Permanent contract
Scope of Work:
As a Utilities Consultant, you will oversee projects from the initial design phase through to final delivery of utilities, which include both black utilities (e.g., steam, city water, cooling water, nitrogen, vacuum) and clean utilities (e.g., direct impact compressed air, clean steam, water for injection). Your responsibilities span the entire project lifecycle, including basic and detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., maintenance, production, QA, EHS) to define clear installation specifications.
· Translate client requirements into technical specifications and advocate for client interests with suppliers.
· Conduct risk analyses and ensure accurate project documentation.
· Coordinate and supervise installation while performing verification and validation tests.
· Develop a detailed project plan aligned with general project and operational schedules to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
· Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring clear task assignments and adherence to the project management system.
· Continuously build technical expertise and suggest innovative ideas to drive improvements.

Candidate Profile:
Educational Background:Higher technical education (Industrial, Civil, or Bio-Engineer).
Skills and Competencies:· Strong communicator with a balanced level of assertiveness.
· Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
· Comfortable working independently while thriving in a team setting.
· Skilled in leading, motivating, and managing project teams.
· Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a structured, plan-driven approach.
· Hands-on and willing to conduct testing activities personally.
· Proficient in writing clear and complete technical documentation.
Technical Requirements:· VOL-VCA certification (mandatory).
· At least 3 years of experience in project/process engineering with piping.
· Ability to perform pressure drop calculations and select pumps.
· Familiarity with cooling techniques and heat pumps (advantageous).
· Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is an added benefit.
