In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Instructor What will your contribution be at Akkodis? Within our Energy division, you will be involved in Oil & Gas projects and will be responsible for the planning, execution and monitoring of the activities concerning pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up, test run and handing over of the plant according to the project objectives in terms of safety, quality, budget and schedule. The candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering theoretical and hands-on training programs for apprentices, maintenance technicians, and operational teams. The role focuses on developing competencies in maintenance, troubleshooting, restoration, and diagnostics of industrial electrical process systems, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, productivity standards, and applicable industry regulations.

About you Requirements to start your growth journey: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical diploma (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within the Oil & Gas sector (onshore/offshore), with strong familiarity in HV/LV power distribution, motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, grounding, and control systems. Previous experience as a trainer or instructor. Solid knowledge of process electrical systems, protection and diagnostics, 4–20 mA signals, field communications (FOUNDATION Fieldbus, HART, Profibus/DeviceNet), and electrical schematic reading. Working knowledge of CMMS/ERP systems (SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalent) and diagnostic tools. Knowledge of Oil & Gas safety standards (LOTO, PTW, permit-to-work systems) and electrical safety regulations (NFPA 70E; ATEX/IECEx; IEC 60079 for hazardous areas, where applicable). Experience delivering training in offshore Oil & Gas environments (BOSIET/HUET or equivalent) and managing work activities in regulated settings. Technical English proficiency sufficient to understand drawings, standards, and technical documentation; ability to prepare and document training and technical content in both Italian and English. Nello specifico, si occuperà delle seguenti attività: MRU commissioning Esaminare il progetto, eseguire revisioni su tutti i documenti relativi al progetto e fornire un feedback per l'aggiunta di valore e l'efficienza delle prestazioni. Sviluppare un programma dettagliato di messa in servizio in linea con la base progettuale, assegnando il tempo necessario per ogni attività. Garantire la conformità con il processo QA/QC durante le restanti fasi di installazione, pre-commissioning, avvio, messa in servizio e funzionamento. Pianificare, organizzare e supervisionare le attività di ispezione, collaudo, pre-commissioning, messa in servizio, avvio e funzionamento di tutte le utenze/sistemi associati. Identificare i problemi e fornire azioni correttive tempestive per riportare il sistema in funzione rapidamente. Garantire le pratiche operative sicure e HSE durante le fasi di messa in servizio e avvio a tutti i livelli. Sviluppo di diversi documenti relativi al campo, tra cui il manuale di pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up e operazioni. Supervisionare e stabilire il funzionamento dei sistemi di strumentazione e controllo nell'avviamento dell'impianto di processo e condurre prove di prestazione. Sviluppare un documento completo che elenchi tutti i problemi/ostacoli incontrati durante le fasi di pre-commissioning, commissioning e start up per riferimenti futuri.

Il candidato ideale possiede un Diploma di scuola superiore in meccanica o equivalente e ha maturato almeno 5 anni di esperienza in ruoli similari e in contesti industriali quali settore Oil&Gas e Raffinerie. Sono richieste buona capacità di problem solving e di team working, autonomia nell’organizzazione delle task assegnate ed orientamento al risultato. E' inoltre richiesta la disponibilità alla mobilità geografica in ambito nazionale e internazionale e un’ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese. About you Requirements to start your professional path: Experience: Minimum 7 years in EPC Oil & Gas execution (onshore/offshore), with at least one FPSO project from shipyard pre-commissioning through offshore commissioning, start-up, and performance testing as Commissioning Lead/Engineer within an EPC contractor. Education: Technical diploma or Engineering bachelor’s degree. Growth trajectory: Demonstrated progression from site commissioning supervisor to system owner in commissioning.
